Gallatin Fire Protection District held its third Annual Awards Presentation for 2011 on Jan. 16. Nineteen fire personnel attended the meeting at which Firefighter of the Year was awarded to Greg Lollar.
EMS Life Saving Award went to Assistant Chief/EMT Barron Gann; Captain/EMR Kyle McBroom; Firefighter/Paramedic Jason Smith; Firefighter/EMT Greg Lollar; and Firefighter/EMR Boston Etherton.
Length of Service awards went to Darrell Wilson Sr. – 30 Years (1980-2010); Todd Holcomb – 20 Consecutive Years; Assistant Chief Barron Gann – 20 Years; Scott Widner ––15 Years; Captain Kyle McBroom – 10 Years; Chad Youngs – 10 Years.
