Frances Lee Helms, 85, Cameron, passed away on Dec. 8, 2011 with her family by her side.
Frances was born on May 20, 1926 in Pattonsburg, Mo., to Orville and Opal (Moad) Cummings.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Covel Helms and her sister, Inez Cunningham.
Frances was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Survivors include son, Steve (Carol) Helms, Cameron, Mo.; seven daughters, Linda (Robert) Schermerhorn, St. Joseph, Mo., Karon (Ivan) Gann, Stewartsville, Mo., Sharon Wilson, St. Joseph, Mo., Beverly (Robert) Wattenberger, Cameron, Mo., Evelyn (Lynn) Banks, St. Joseph, Mo., Debbie (Chuck) Kemmer, Easton, Mo., Brenda (Steve) Lee, Weat-herby, Mo.; 19 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Burial in the Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery, Weatherby, Mo. Online condolences: www.polandthompson.com.
