Four people were hurt in an accident that occurred four miles east of Gilman City at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Diana Leonard, 64, Ridgeway, was traveling eastbound on Hwy. 146. Felica Clutter, 24, Gilman City was traveling southbound, attempting to turn west. Leonard’s vehicle struck the Clutter vehicle on the left front.
The Leonard’s 2002 Ford Escort came to rest in the westbound driving lane. The Clutter’s 2006 Hyundai Sonata was driven onto a side road.
Clutter, Leonard and two passengers in the Leonard vehicle, Alice Hancock, 85, and Harold House, 68, both of Bethany, were all taken to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany by NTA Ambulance Service.
Clutter received moderate injuries. She was wearing her seat belt. Leonard and Hancock received serious injuries and House received moderate injuries. It is not known if they were wearing their seatbelts.
The vehicles were both extensively damaged.
