Richard L. Eubank, commander-in-chief, recently congratulated local VFW Commander Ray Clevenger on having achieved the distinct honor of leading his Post to over 100% in membership for the 2011-2012 year.

This was the third year in a row the Post has achieved the honor.
The District is composed of 13 posts. The local chapter, VFW Post 2172, has 74 members. Between 20-25 are active members.
"Your Post can be justifiably proud of its officers and members who have contributed so much to the success of the programs and purposes of the Veterans of Foreign Wars," said Commander-in-Chief Eubank.
Mr. Clevenger was presented a streamer to go on the Post’s VFW flag.
Mr. Clevenger said in addition to retaining present members, the Post would like to add new members. He invites all veterans to get in touch with him 660-334-0449 if they are interested in joining.
