Thank you so much for your nice article (11/16/11) regarding the remodeled Courter Theater, and the coverage for our “Hallelujah Girls” performance last weekend. I am happy to report we were completely sold out on Friday night and had just a few seats left at the other two performances. It was with great fortitude that the cast and crew carried on and attempted to bring a smile and mental relief to many, in the shadow of the tragedy that had occurred in our community.
We also received donations for the final three seats at the theater and will soon have those plaques in place. I would again like to thank all of the Gallatin Theatre League members, supporters and everyone near and far, who donated their time, talents, labor and funds to help make this dream a reality. We have received so many positive comments and are very proud of our theater. We are certainly thankful to be a part of such a wonderful and caring community, and we hope to continue to bring quality entertainment to the stage for many years to come.
