The advisory affects everyone on the water line from Coffey south to Hwy. 6 and Hwy. 13 east to Grundy County. The advisory started Wednesday and will last until further notice.
An advisory means boiling water is not mandatory, but users are advised to boil water for three minutes before consuming.
The advisory came about as PWSD #2 reached a low tank level as a result of Harrison County’s repair of an eight-inch water line.
