The Active Aging Resource Center would like to remind Medicare beneficiaries that Part D time is here.
The AARC, formerly the senior center out of Gallatin, will be at the Pattonsburg Tree Climbers Club building on Central Avenue in Pattonsburg from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, to help print an unbiased comparison of the Part D Drug Plan for 2012.
There is no charge for this service. Vera Nelson, aging consultant, and Deanna Lewis, administrator, work with the Area Agency on Aging out of Albany to provide this service and assistance to Medicare recipients. Vera and Deanna suggest that you get a Part D worksheet from them before the event, so that you are better prepared for your comparison.
Worksheets may be obtained by calling the AARC toll free at 1-866-587-2272, or locally at 663-2828. Kay Sweat at the Pattonsburg Multipurpose Center also has Part D worksheets.
Mark your calendar and come to the Pattonsburg Tree Climbers Club from 10-2:30 on Monday, Nov. 14.
