Faith Keeney will represent the area as Mrs. Grand River in the Mrs. Missouri America Pageant to be held in Branson on Aug. 2–3, 2012.
This competition is the state preliminary to Mrs. America and Mrs. World. Delegates compete in three categories. The interview comprises 50% of the score, swimsuit accounts for 25% and the remaining 25% is from the evening gown competition.
At the local level contestants make appearances at community events, fairs and festivals. Mrs. Grand River will be promoting her platform "Cultural Diversity" by speaking to groups and volunteering at activities. She will also become a supporter of MENC, the national association for music education, which had partnered with the Mrs. America Organization to raise awareness of the importance of music education in our schools.
Faith is married to her husband, Jay Keeney. They reside in Carroll County where she is owner/general manager of Dent Physician LLC. She works from her home and enjoys spending time with her family which includes four children and three grandchildren.
