Six persons were arrested on drug charges on Oct. 24, when the Daviess County Sheriff and two deputies went to Apartment #16 at 101 E. Elm Street in Gallatin to make contact with Johnathan Corwin regarding an accident he had on Oct. 23. Corwin and five other people were at the apartment sitting around a coffee table.

Corwin was placed under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident. A search of his person revealed a bag of marijuana under his right pant leg. Melissa Everman, owner of the apartment, gave consent for a search of the apartment which revealed drug paraphernalia and a plastic bag containing one-half pound of marijuana in brick form.
Everman, Charles McDaniel and Rickey Wilson all gave consent for law enforcement to search their vehicles. Paraphernalia was also found in Wilson’s car.
All of the subjects were placed under arrest for possession of marijuana and transported to the sheriff’s office.
Corwin, 18, Gallatin, and Wilson, 22, Ridgeway, have each been charged with the class B felony of possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute and the class A misdemeanor of drug paraphernalia. They are each being held on $50,000 bond.
McDaniel, 18, and Everman, 22, both of Gallatin, Quentin Hogan, 20, Ridgeway, and Tyler Pickren, 18, Bethany, have each been charged with the class C felony of possession of controlled substance (more than 35 grams marijuana) and the class A misdemeanor of drug paraphernalia. They are each being held on $35,000 bond.
