The motion for continuance in the federal case against Pauline Froman in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri has been granted and the trial set for Nov. 28, 2011.

Her husband Daniel Froman plead guilty to mail fraud on Oct. 18, admitting that he defrauded 100 farmers whose grain was stored at his business, Gallatin Grain Company, by selling their grain in order to pay his debts. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the completion of a presentence investigation by the United States Probation Office.
Mr. Froman was indicted April 21 for bank fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy and interstate transportation of stolen goods. Mrs. Froman was indicted for conspiracy, mail fraud and bank fraud.
The Fromans voluntarily surrendered the Gallatin Grain Company grain warehouse and dealer licenses to state officials in February 2009. The total claims were in excess of $4.5 million, as announced at an administrative hearing held by the Department of Agriculture on May 28, 2009.
