Gordy Hale, who takes care of the grain and works at the office at Nalle’s, said the corn will be loaded out when other corn is shipped from the grain bins. He said if it rains the top of the corn will crust over and the rest will be fine. Gordy said the crops are looking better than anticipated this year. Corn is averaging between 140 to 150 bushels to the acres. Soybeans are averaging about 40 per acre. "We’re thankful everybody had good crops this year," Gordy said. [Staff Photo/TLH]
