On Oct. 15, the Gallatin FFA and FCCLA held their annual barnwarming dance. Over 100 members from the two organizations participated. The music for the evening was provided by Saturation Point, and J.R. Bird called the square dances, marking over 50 years of calling.

Barnwarming candidates were: seniors Abbi Porter and Jordan Jeffers, juniors Hannah Boyd and Dexter Daniel, sophomores Bailey Morrison and Sam Hamilton, and freshmen Kourtney Bird and Trystan Sunby. Dexter Daniel and Hannah Boyd were crowned the FFA/FCCLA barnwarming king and queen by last year’s king and queen, Garrett McNeely and Kristen Critten.

After crowning came the candidate games. Throughout the evening members participated in the annual red ear of corn race, the donut eating contest, apple bobbing, the cider chugging contest, and square dancing.
