Gallatin’s Mattie Burge shot 110 on Monday and 116 on Tuesday to finish off the pace at the Class 1 MSHSAA Golf Championships held in Bolivar.
Burge was one of only two Grand River Conference golfers who qualified for the state tournament. Maysville’s Claire Huffaker shot 200 but also did not medal. Brooke Cusumano of Westminster Christian Academy shot 164 to win the event by two strokes.
