A follow-up discipleship program, "The Greatest Journey," will reach 60 countries and be available in 28 languages. The program will share the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world.

Hours of operation for the Pattonsburg Relay Center during National Collection Week are from 1-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Nov. 14-18. Then the church will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19; from 1-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20; and from 9-10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21. The relay center is located in the Pattonsburg First Baptist Church.

Decorate a shoe box (standard size) or purchase a small plastic container (shoe box size). You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Fill the box with appropriate items for either a boy or girl, (ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14 years old) designated by taping a label to the top of your box. Labels may be downloaded from samaritanspurse.org/occ.

Gifts should be new; no liquid or candy that would melt (place hard candy in baggies); no glass or breakable items (such as porcelain figurines). Popular items include small toys, stuffed animals, balls, games, T-shirts, coloring books, school supplies, and hygiene items such as soap, toothbrush and toothpaste. The children also enjoy personal notes and family photos. Please donate $7 for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping costs. If you or your family are preparing more than one shoe box, please make one combined donation.

Give online and follow your box around the world. Find out the destination of your shoe box by making a donation at samaritanspurse.org/occ. Relay Center coordinator is Elanor Best, 660-367-2142.
