Heritage Day in Jamesport will be on Saturday, Sept. 24. Heritage Days will feature demonstrations of lost arts and crafts, musical entertainment, a carnival, buggy rides, lots of good food, baked goods, wine tasting, fudge, ice cream, and much more.
In addition to the lost arts and skills, there will be an open art antique and flea market. Entertainment can be found on the streets during special times throughout the day. The Missouri Town Dancers will perform at 10:30 and 2 p.m. on the street north of the four-way stop.
The United Methodist Church will be sponsoring their annual salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Persons should take advantage of the kettle corn, funnel cakes, plus the food in all of the town’s restaurants. Remember to visit the Scarecrow Factory in front of the library. Entertainment will take stage on Saturday night at the A.V. Spillman Event Center. The band, Saturation Point, will be playing everyone’s favorite tunes. Food will be served starting at 6 p.m. and the band will start around 7. Everyone is invited to attend.
