Kevin Hudson gave the annual auditor’s report with no discrepancies found during a meeting of the Gallatin R-5 Board of Education held Sept. 15.
The board approved taking bids for a mini-bus and two older busses and a propane tank. They gave approval to look at purchasing another school vehicle.
A tuition waiver was granted to Rebecca Fischer for the 2011 school year.
The bus routes were approved .
Regional MSBA meeting will be held Nov. 2 in Brookfield.
Facilities improvement was discussed and a revision of the graduation requirements for a transfer student was granted.
A thank-you card from the family of True Sweatman was read.
The board entered into executive session for discussion of personnel and review of evaluations for the faculty.
Next meeting is Thursday, Oct. 13.
Board members Brice Terry, Jesse Bird, Tim Bradford, Trent Dowell and Tim Tadlock were in attendance. Absent were Priscilla Whitt and Bill Irby. Also in attendance were Superintendent Dennis Croy, principals Toni Cox and Chris Elbert, board secretary Lynda Swopes, and teacher representatives. Guests were Kevin Hudson and Andrew Jones.
