Here’s a chance to share that picture with other animal lovers. The Green Hills Animal Shelter is hosting a Pet Photo Contest. The photographs will be featured in a 2012 Pet Photo Calendar that will be available for sale as a fund-raiser for the shelter. There will be 13 first place winning photographs selected – one for the cover and one for each month. Additional photos will be included elsewhere in the calendar.
This contest is a fund-raiser, with all profits going towards the care of the animals at the shelter. There is a $5 entry fee per photo. You are welcome to submit as many photos as you like. The deadline for photo submissions is Oct. 1.
Voting for the winning photos will take place Oct. 15 – Nov. 1, beginning with a display of all of the submitted photos on Oct. 15-16 at the Green Hills Animal Shelter booth at Trenton’s Missouri Days Festival. Winning photographs will be selected by monetary votes ($1 per vote). Votes may be mailed or cast in person at several places around Trenton.
