Three Jamesport men face charges in Grundy County following an altercation with the Trenton Police Department, according to the Sept. 6 issue of the Trenton Republican-Times.

Edward Kurtz, 20, Lester L. Kurtz, 22, and Aaron Kurtz, 24, have been charged with peace disturbance and resisting or interfering with an arrest. They are accused of shouting offensive language in a face-to-face manner to law enforcement officers. They also allegedly threatened violence against Sgt. Jeb Walker, Officer Justin Ishmael, and Officer Jesse Wills.
In addition Edward Kurtz is charged with third degree assault of law enforcement for recklessly causing physical injury to the three officers by kicking them in the legs, stomach and groin.
All three have posted $5,000 bond.
