The Green Hills Women’s Shelter held an informal, informational meeting on Wednesday evening in Chillicothe. Prospective board members and interested persons discussed preliminary plans for rolling the shelter out of GHCAA and into a standalone corporation.

Tammy Taylor serves as Director for the Women’s Shelter program with locations in Trenton, Chillicothe, and Cameron.
The shelter program currently is seeking volunteers to help support the shelter program. Volunteers must be 18 years of age and must be able to pass a background check. Several special projects are held as fund raisers throughout the year. Details of upcoming events, including a banquet and auction in Chillicothe, will be distributed in the coming weeks.
