The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Highway Patrol, executed a search warrant on July 29 at 707 Hyatt Street in Gallatin. Larry E. Curtis and Cinthya M. Davis were taken into custody and transported to the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail.
Upon completing a search of the residence, narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a homemade explosive device were located. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Explosive Unit responded to the residence and disposed of the explosive device.
Curtis, 44, and Davis, 37, are currently in custody in the regional jail, charged with distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of an explosive weapon, unlawful manufacture of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bond has been set at $75,000 each.
