The Daviess County Nursing and Rehab is surviving the unbearable heat by staying inside. Still, everyone has managed to keep busy.
Residents made their own personal pizzas in cooking class. They’ve also had the monthly resident birthday party with homemade banana cake and ice cream.
Memorial service was held on July 12.
Bingo is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon.
Visitors this past week have been Howard Stevenson, Ann Holcomb, Pastor Russ Hamilton, Norma Griffin, Shirley Higgins, Frankie Burns, Jerry Stallsworth, Teddie Broughton; Brandy Vandiver, Brinley, Boston, and Berkley; Sandy, Larry, and Shannon Watson; Todd Watson, and many more relatives and friends.
