COLUMBIA, MO – USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Farm Service Agency (FSA), Risk Management Agency (RMA) and Rural Development (RD) will host two meetings on August 4 for farmers and landowners affected by flooding in northwestern Missouri. The meetings will focus on USDA programs available to assist with disaster recovery.

The meetings will be at the following times and locations:

— 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Velma Houts Building, 201 Highway 136

East, Rock Port, Mo.

— 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge,

Highway 159 South, Mound City, Mo.

Representing the USDA agencies will be: J.R. Flores, state conservationist, NRCS; Janie Dunning, state director, RD; Rebecca Davis, director, Topeka Regional Office, RMA; Gerald Hrdina, conservation program specialist, FSA; Jim Nance, district director, FSA; Corey Lesher, county executive director, FSA; and Bob Dreyer, farm loan manager, FSA.
