The Active Aging Resource Center will be having its monthly birthday/anniversary party celebration on Wednesday, July 27. Mark Gay, Gallatin native, will provide the entertainment with a variety of song and guitar selections. Mark will also feature some of his guitar students for a portion of the Center’s entertainment.
Birthday and anniversary entertainment will begin around 12:30. Cake and ice cream will be served and July birthdays are invited to come and bring friends. "Snow-bird" birthdays from the Center will also be celebrated.
The Active Aging Resource Center, formerly called the Senior Center, is located next to the Gallatin Post Office.
The Center serves lunch from 11:30 to 12:30 Monday through Friday and for seniors 60 and over there is a suggested donation of $3 for a full balanced meal. Meals for those under 60 are $6 and children can eat at the center for $2.50.
Deanna Lewis and Vera Nelson invite everyone to come and enjoy a home-cooked meal, entertainment, and fun at the Active Aging Resource Center.
