Maxine Taylor White, 83, passed away July 14, 2011, at Gallatin.
She was born July 16, 1927, in Pontiac, Mich., the daughter of Sam and Jessie (Wathen) Taylor.
Maxine was the secretary at Maysville School District when she first graduated from school. She was a homemaker, owner and manager of Maysville Frosty Freeze, and bookkeeper of White Construction for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William A. White; and four brothers, James, Floyd, Jean, and Rolla Taylor.
Survivors include two children, Joyce Hunt, Chandler, Ariz., and John White, Maysville; one sister, Nelle Daul, Maysville; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
