The third annual "Focus on Forages III – Making Money with Grass" will be held Tuesday, July 26 at the Hundley-Whaley Learning Discovery Center in Albany. The program starts at 6 p.m.

Topics include touring the tall fescue and legume plots, crabgrass varieties for summer pasture, technologies to measure forage growth, small grains for grazing, forage costs and returns and hands-on activity of sampling tall fescue for the endophyte. All forage growers will benefit from attending this program.

There is a fee to cover meals, copies of presentations, and 2010 summary of plot research which includes forage quality data from the forage plots at Hundley-Whaley.
