Edith Josephine "Jo" Flanders Rosseter departed this life on June 30, 2011 after a brief illness.

Jo was born Dec. 18, 1919, to George Crosby and Edith Louise Hay Flanders in Dubuque, Iowa. She grew up there and graduated from high school, then entered the work force working for Northwestern Bell.
Jo and her twin sister, Marilyn, served as WACs during World War II. She met her husband, Roger C. Rosseter, during her service at Kelly Field in Texas. They raised their family in Omaha, Neb., where she resumed her career with the phone company.
She was an active member of Castelar Presbyterian Church.
She and Roger moved to Gallatin, Mo., in 2000. She was a member of the Red Hats organization and the Presbyterian Church in Gallatin.
In 2008, she moved to Carson City, Nev., where she passed away.
Jo was preceded in death by her twin, Marilyn, and her beloved husband, Roger.
She is survived by two brothers, Harry Classen and George W. Flanders, as well as her children, Patricia Hubbard-Ducharme (Paul), Susan Hart (Mark Matthewson), Mark R. Rosseter (Suzie) and John G. Rosseter (Theresa), as well as 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Everyone who knew Jo loved and admired her for her kind, loving and sweet spirit. She has always been a great treasure to her family. We already miss her very much, but have learned much from her and have only precious memories of her time spent with us. She will not be forgotten and will be much loved always.
A memorial service is planned for Sept. 17 in Omaha, Neb.
