The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that Route Z in Daviess County will be closing at the bridge over the drainage ditch just west of Route AA near Pattonsburg on Monday, June 27.
Route Z will be closing for a bridge deck replacement project. The road will be closed during this project for approximately six to eight weeks.
Widel Inc. of Blackwater, was awarded the project for three bridge deck replacement projects in Daviess County in the amount of $904,839.50. Bridge projects will also be completed by Widel Inc. on Route V over Muddy Creek and on Route HH over Marrowbone Creek. Each bridge will be closed to thru traffic during these projects for six to eight weeks.
