Funeral services for Wayne Shipers will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Burial will be at Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens. Friends may call anytime after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. There is no scheduled family visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Comfort Care Hospice of Cameron, in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 152, Pattonsburg, Mo., 64670.

Wayne "Sonny" Shipers Jr., 73, Pattonsburg, died Saturday, June 18, 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Shipers of the home; one son, Donnie Shipers, Pattonsburg; one daughter, Cathy Maddox, Gallatin; two sisters: Peggy Searcy, Pattonsburg, and Kay Smelley, W. Quincy; two brothers, Denny Shipers, Pattonsburg, and Jim Shipers, Bethany; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
