Funeral services for Jason Thomas were held June 15, 2011, in Nevada, Mo. Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dederick.

Jason Lee Thomas, 28, Nevada, Mo., died Saturday, June 11, 2011, in Richards.
He was born Jan. 26, 1983, in Kansas City. Jason grew up in El Dorado Springs and Walker and graduated from Northeast Vernon County High School in 2002. In December, 2004, he married Erika Kristen Steger of Gallatin, and they lived in Trenton until moving to Nevada, Mo., in 2007.
He was preceded in death by two step-brothers, Robert Rosales, Jr., and George Rosales.
Survivors include his wife Erika, son, Draysen and daughter Bryleigh, all of Gallatin; his mother and step-father, Joanne and Robert Rosales of Walker; his father and step-mother, Terry and Debbie Thomas of Schell City; one brother, Mathew Thomas of Nevada; one half-brother, Terry Thomas, Jr. of Schell City; one half-sister, Tasha Lesmeister of Montrose; paternal grandfather, Hershel Thomas of Ft. Scott, Kan.
