Keith and the former Betty Mooney, both of Pattonsburg, were united in marriage at the Heath United Methodist chapel near McFall on Oct. 21, 1960. The Rev. Porter Hopkins officiated the double ring ceremony. Standing up with the couple were long-time friends Loren Dale Carter and Nancy McDaniel. Family and friends gathered for a reception at the couple’s farm home to celebrate with them.
The Plymell’s have four children and eight grandchildren: Gina Scott, Hannah and Hunter of Odessa; Scott and Jacqueline McClure, Levi, Sarah, Cody and Derek of Bethany; Kent and Pam Plymell, Haleigh and Jillian of Pattonsburg; and Shannon Plymell of Pattonsburg.
Now, 50 years later, family and friends are gathering once again to celebrate with the happy couple.
Please join them from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, at the Pattonsburg Senior Center. No gifts, please, but if you would like, jot down special memories the couple can enjoy later.
