A Hamilton man received minor injuries when his Chevrolet truck collided with a gravel truck on Vista Road in Daviess County at 1:55 p.m. on May 25.

According to a report by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Dylan Grant, 24, Hamilton, was eastbound and Flint Hibler, 52, Kidder, was westbound on Vista. As the vehicles crested a hill, they met near the center of the road. After impact, the Grant vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet truck slid off the roadway and overturned once and came to rest upright, facing north. The Hibler vehicle, a 1991 International gravel truck, also slid off the south side of the roadway, overturned once and came to rest upright, facing south.
Grant, who was wearing his seat belt, was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The Chevrolet was totaled and the International had extensive damage.
The accident was investigated by Cp. P.M. Kimball. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office assisted..
