Pattonsburg FFA taking donations for Joplin

Pattonsburg FFA is taking all donations for tornado relief in Joplin.

They are kicking the drive off at the Pattonsburg baseball field tomorrow at 6 p.m. and will be taking donations throughout the week. You can also schedule pickup of larger donations by sending an email to [email protected]. Donations may include non-perishable food, clothing, water, shovels, rakes, toys, hygiene items. They are taking anything that can aid the volunteers or those who are victims. You may contact Eric Robertson, Pattonsburg FFA booster, at 660-367-2332 or cell 660-853-1620.

Gallatin Baptist Church collecting supplies for tornado victims

Gallatin First Baptist Church is collecting supplies for the victims of Sunday’s tornado in Joplin. The following supplies are requested: Toiletries, Blankets, Food (Ready to eat items such as canned meats, NOT anything that has to be cooked or heated), Flashlights, Batteries, Feminine needs, Diapers, Bottled water, Baby food, Baby formula (Liquid, ready to eat, not the powder or concentrate that has to be mixed), Baby wipes, Cleaning supplies, Medical supplies, Large storage containers, Leather gloves.

Drop off items at the church on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to noon and Thursday 6-7 p.m. Supplies will be delivered this weekend.
