The three movies were: El cuento de los horrores de las verduras (Veggie Tale Horrors) by Spanish 1, David, el domedor de leones (David, the Lion-Tamer) by Spanish 2, and El ciclo de amor (The Cycle of Love) by Spanish 3. Twenty schools and around 400 students participated, and nearly 90 films were submitted in four languages: Chinese, French, German, and Spanish. Fifty-six of the films were in Spanish, making it the hardest category to compete in.

North Daviess Spanish classes came home with ten awards: One (Second Place Best Spanish Level 1 Comedy) for El cuento, and nine (including Most Original Spanish Film, Best Actor- Grant Hartley, Best Actress- Kelsey Brown, and Best Overall Comedy) for El ciclo de amor.
