The Gallatin Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post #2172, with the help of high school student volunteers, will be distributing buddy poppies at the four-way stop in Gallatin from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 28.

All donations stay in the Gallatin area to benefit our local veterans and their families when the needs arise.
The buddy poppy is the official flowers of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and is the symbol of the pledge to "honor the dead by helping the living," perpetuating the memory of thousands of selfless service members who died so that all United States citizens are able to live free.
The auxiliary is always ready to help the veterans and their loved ones but money is always needed to fulfill these goals. This is the only fund-raiser for the year for the ladies auxiliary.
