Bobbie was born November 10, 1929 to Charles and Leola (Gordon) Albrecht in Rural Daviess County, Missouri where he lived all of his life. He attended schools at Haw Branch Country School and Lock Springs. As a young child Bobbie helped his granddad farm and soon developed his love for all aspects of agriculture. Bobbie was united in marriage to Doris Boyer November 2, 1950 in Gallatin; she preceded him in death in 2007 after 57 years of marriage. Bobbie and Doris purchased the family farm southeast of Gallatin in 1952 where they lived all of their lives and raised their children. Bobbie was dedicated to hard work and was always up at the crack of dawn to plan his day. He had a way with animals and working with his cows, hogs, or horses gave him great pleasure. In the winter months when he was unable to work outside Bobbie would set up machinery at Thompson Implement in Gallatin. For the last 25 years he worked at his business Albrecht Septic Service with his son Rick; always ready and eager to go to the next job.

Bobbie was a member of the Lock Springs Christian Church, later transferring his membership to the First Christian Church in Gallatin. He so enjoyed the fellowship with his church family and looked forward to attending events at the church. The annual rummage sale was always a highlight; he delighted in being at the door and visiting with all who came to enjoy the gathering. When called upon for food, Bobbie would bake brownies and gladly help in any capacity that he could, building deep and lasting relationships as he served.

Bobbie loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He looked forward to their visits and enjoyed taking them rides on the golf cart to check the cattle. His larger than life smile and that contagious laugh gave him the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, he never met a stranger. His family was the pride and joy of his life and his value of work and faith will live on thru them. Bobbie lived his life serving and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Doris and his brothers, Keith and Charles Albrecht.

Bobbie is survived by his 3 children, Pam Stamper of Kearney, MO, Jerry Bob Albrecht of Bakersfield, CA. and Rick Albrecht of Gallatin, MO, one brother Bill Albrecht of Stover, Grandchildren, Jacklyn Albrecht, Nicole Curtis and husband Dale Ray, Amanda and Katie Davis, great grandchildren, Caleb, Dalton Kaylee and Ely, and a host of friends.
