The motions cite the complexity of the case and voluminous discovery which has not been reviewed by their counsel. The Fromans were indicted May 2 with conspiracy, mail fraud, wire fraud and bank fraud.

Daniel Froman is represented by Joel Pelofsky of Berman, DeLeve, Kuchan and Chapman LLP of Kansas City. Pauline Froman is represented by Jonathan A. Bortnick of Bortnick, McKeon, Sakoulas & Schanker P.C. of Kansas City.

No decision on the motions for continuance has been posted at this time.
