Courtney Crose, student at Learning Time Preschool was the drawing winner of the coloring contest – "Gear Up" at the Active Aging Resource Center. Coutney received a duck gift basket of goodies. All Karla Michener’s students that participated received a free ice cream cone certificate. The "Gear Up" Contest emphasized eye care for May’s Healthy Vision Month. The Active Aging Resource Center is promoting assistance for people with low vision or vision difficulties. The Resource Center can help in obtaining visual aids or referrals to the State of Missouri’s vision assistance program. A Low Vision Game Day is planned in June with bingo, cards, and puzzles for all to enjoy. If you would like more information, please contact Vera or Deanna at the Resource Center.
