Hazel G. Davis, age 88, passed on Thursday, May 5, 2011. She was a resident of Battlefield, Mo.

Hazel was born April 28, 1923, to Nannie-Bell and Harvey Green. She married Charles D Davis Jr on Sept. 5, 1947. They celebrated life together for over 64 years.
Hazel and Charles had two children, Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth. Thomas and his wife, Rhonda, live near Rogersville Mo., with their two children Nathan and Jessica. Sarah and her husband Bill Moore live in Des Moines, Iowa, with their three children Brian, Abby, and Erin.
Hazel is also survived by one of her five bothers, Frank Green, of Raytown Mo.
Those that preceded include her parents, and her brothers, Ezra, John, Thurston "Jim" , and Harley "Nic" Green.
Mrs Davis was laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield Mo., Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
