May 6 — 1st Friday Health Seminar 11 a.m.; May 18 — Board meeting 10 a.m.; May 19 —VFW Advocate – note date change; May 24 — 3 B day with Jimmy Harris – note date change; May 25 — Safety Fair in Trenton. Product of the month for May is brown sugar. Judy Hester won the drawing for April.
The center is in need of a metal step ladder if anyone would like to donate.
Sue Bird, Kay Woodruff and Ann Schweizer had fun Easter music.
We have chances on a red, white, and blue quilt to be given away at Mother’s Day. Donations are one for $1 and six for $5.
Menus May 9-13
Monday: chicken Parmesan, Harvard beets, San Francisco blend, applesauce; Tuesday: pork ribs and hot rolls, hash brown casserole, buttered mixed vegetables, Mandarin oranges; Wednesday: baked potato with chili, relishes, pears, crackers, cinnamon rolls; Thursday: chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, biscuit, cherry crisp; Friday: potato bar with broccoli cheese, deviled eggs, orange/pineapple juice, crackers, muffin.
