Pattonsburg competed in District 12 Scholar Bowl Competition on April 9, at Norborne.

Those participating were: seniors: Justin and Scott Conover; junior: Courtney Warford, sophomores: Jeanette Cruthis and Samantha Parman, and freshman: Tyler Virtue. Round Robin results were as follows: Game 1: Pattonsburg 270 vs Hardin-Central 100; Game 2: Pattonsburg 220 vs Polo 250 OT; Game 3: Pattonsburg 230 vs Norborne 100.
After the round robin Pattonsburg held the number one seed.
In semi-final action Pattonsburg played Norborne. With a victory of 220-150, the team advanced to the final round. In the final round Pattonsburg played Polo. They won the district title with a 260 to 140 victory.
The Pattonsburg team then advanced on to the sectional games held at Meadville on April 14. Those participating in this event were sophomores: Jeanette Cruthis, Samantha Parman, and Aaron Hulett; and freshman: Tyler Virtue. A conflict of schedules due to state FFA being on the same day took Justin, Scott, and Courtney from the team. The students put forth their best efforts but lost the best two out of three game format.
