Gallatin instructor conducts FFA entomology contest

Candi Wyant, a student from Milan High School, uses a lighted magnifying glass to examine a specimen during an Entomology Judging Contest at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. The Entomology contest was conducted by Chris Henderson, FFA advisor from Gallatin High School. Annual NCMC Ag Club Contests, held in cooperation with Area 2 FFA Agriculture Educators, were hosted by NCMC on Thursday. Approximately 1,500 students from across north Missouri participated in agronomy, dairy foods, entomology, farm management, forestry, floriculture, horses, meats, nursery, poultry, and soils competitions held on the main college campus, the Barton agriculture campus, and the North Central Missouri Fairgrounds/Rock Barn.
