Funeral services for Carolyn Hamilton were held Saturday, March 19, at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Avalon Cemetery, Chillicothe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dock Woods Caring Fund, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, Penn., 19446, and/or American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northampton, Mass., 01061-0515.

Carolyn Ruth Hamilton, 94, Lansdale, formerly of Kidder, died March 11, 2011.

Carolyn was born on Nov. 24, 1915 in Chillicothe, to George and Alva (Coburn) Mitchell.

On April 4, 1945, Carolyn married Hugh Hamilton in Oakland, Calif. He preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2006.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Hamilton, Des Moines, Iowa, and Thomas Hamilton, Ohio; one daughter, Charlene Lewis, Chalfont, Penn.; and five grandchildren.
