Winston FFA Chapter celebrates National FFA Week

Winston FFA Chapter promoted Agricultural Education and the National FFA Organization to their school and community Feb. 21-26. During the week, FFA members sported their blue and gold, played cowboys and Indians, and supported their favorite sports team.

The chapter donned their FFA jackets and held their annual pancake supper Feb. 22. This year, 75 guests attended and enjoyed pancakes, bacon, and sausage. The community made generous donations and are appreciated for their support of Winston’s FFA program.

Unfortunately, the week was cut short due to weather and the chapter has decided to postpone Barnyard Day for elementary students until May.
