Two people were hired as pool managers for the upcoming season at the Gallatin city pool. Mary Jane Story and Laurie Roll will receive $10 an hour.

Police Chief Mark Richards submitted a report on activity from March 1-14 with the following reports taken and tickets given: one home lock out; two auto lock outs; one illegal dumping; one harassment; three funeral escorts; one parking violation; three speeding violations; one intruder alarm at school; one domestic assault; one recovered property; one suspicious person; one stop sign violation; one equipment violation. There are three dogs in the pound.

Chief Richards stated that over the next few weeks the police will be contacting property owners that have code violations. Remember that trash clean-up days are April 12 and 14 this year. Chief Richards said that he is still looking at police officer applications.

Bills in the amount of $167,257.23 were approved for payment.

Discussion was held on the mutual aid agreement, water meter tests, sidewalk grant at school, CDBG grant for water plant project, and FEMA money.
