Eugene Richard Hulett, 81, Bethany, formerly of Pattonsburg, Mo., passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011.
He was born April 19, 1929 in McFall, Mo., the son of George C. and Dorothy M. (Carter) Hulett.
Eugene married Helen Cox and to this union four children were born. They later divorced. On April 19, 1991, he married Twila Snow in Pattonsburg. She survives at the home.
He was a graduate of Pattonsburg High School and he loved fishing and singing. He worked as a machinist at the Pattonsburg Cap Factory for many years.
Survivors in addition to his wife are his children, Diana McBride, Kansas City, Mo., Ninnian Hulett, Granbury, Tex., Rose Drolett, Spring, Tex. and Kurt Hulett, Buckner, Mo.; step-son, Myron Snow, Gallatin, Mo.; brother, Kenneth Hulett, Branson, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Burial with military rites in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Pattonsburg, Mo.
