Celebration of Life for Larry McFee was held Saturday, Feb. 12, at Altamont Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Comfort Care Hospice or Altamont Methodist Church. Arrangements were by McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin.

Larry McFee, 59, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 after a brave battle with cancer.

Larry was born April 27, 1951 to Walter (Buster) and Opal (Garner) McFee on a farm near Altamont. He graduated from Gallatin High School in 1970.

After graduation Larry worked at F & R Quarries near Gallatin for a short period of time. He began his painting career in the early 70’s working for M & H Painting Company, where they did interior and exterior painting all over the area. He also worked for Gordon Swindler in Hamilton and in 1991 Larry started working for Gary Holley where he continued to paint, retiring in 2008 due to failing health.

Larry was united in marriage to Jackie West July 3, 1979. The couple made their home in Altamont.

Larry attended the Warriors of Destiny Church in Cameron

Larry was preceded in death by his father Buster McFee in 2008 and his nephew Gary Wayne Holley.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie, Weatherby; mother, Opal McFee, Altamont; siblings, Sharon Bridgeman, Cameron, Judy Price, Altamont, and Kathy Holley, Jamesport.http://www.mcwilliamsfuneralhomes.com.
