The celebration will begin with a breakfast at 8 a.m. in the high school commons for all local V.F.W. members. An assembly will follow the breakfast (around 8:15-8:30), in which Gallatin graduate Master Chief Carl Carder will address the student body pertaining to past U.S. conflicts and proper flag etiquette. The Gallatin High School Band and organizational presidents will also be honoring our veterans in the assembly. In addition, Ray Clevenger will have an informational military flag display in the Gallatin High School library from 9:15 a.m. through 1 p.m. Community members are welcome to attend the assembly and/or view the military flags in the library.
