Gallatin Police Chief Mark Richards submitted a repot on activity from Oct. 25 to Nov. 8 with the following reports taken and tickets given: one property damage; two vehicle unlock; three assist medical; one improper burning; one assist DFS; four trespassing; one warrant arrest; four dogs at large; two accidents; five cows on roadway; one home lockout. There are four dogs in the pound.

Chief Richards stated that the police will be participating with the Toys for Tots program this Christmas. Collection boxes will be placed through the Gallatin area. Chief Richards also addressed concern with city warrants.
Bills in the amount of $115,533.78 were approved for payment.
Discussion was held on the pool; the financial review; and the 2011 budget.
City Administrator Zac Johnson stated that the city should have the official election results by the next meeting. FEMA application has been finalized and submitted. He also stated that the city received back $555.48 from their insurance provider Midwest Public Risk on its loss/control efforts this year.
Mayor Barb Ballew expressed appreciation to everyone for their extra time and efforts on the election bond.
The board entered into closes session for legal actions and litigation and hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting employees.
