Four Winston High School students and advisor Eric Critten attended the 83rd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., during Oct. 20-23. The first night started off with the first session of the convention, followed by the Lady Antebellum concert. On the Oct. 21, the students attended the FFA Career Show and were then amazed by Dr. Jim Wand, a hypnotist. The following day, the students explored Kelsay Farms and the Indianapolis Zoo. On Oct. 28, the Winston FFA Chapter volunteered at the American Royal. While there, the students led tours throughout the "World of Agriculture" and spoke about various animals, grains, their uses, and alternative fuels to the greater Kansas City area students.
