Cap was born on July 13, 1927, in Winston, Mo., to Minor and Margaret (Oak) Allen.
He was a graduate of Cameron High School and Chillicothe Business School.
Cap was a cattle buyer and farmed for many years before retiring.
Cap was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Allen; three brothers, Jesse, Dale and Glen Allen, and daughter, Tammy Allen.
Survivors include two sons, Duke Allen and Travis Allen, Cameron; two step-sons, Steve Trump and R.C. Lizer; step-daughter, Candy Switlik; sister, Christine (Loren) Foxworthy, Cameron; three grandchildren, Lane Allen, McKayla Allen, Sidney Allen.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
